  • A thread for each parent, and one for all
    Open a student and switch between the whole family, just the student, or each parent. A parent only sees their own thread and the shared one, and an organisation can switch parent chat off.
  • A Message button on every session
    Every session opens the right thread from its own Message button. Class and group chats are opt-in, so one is never created just by looking at a booking.

A stuck question, answered on the working

When a student gets stuck mid-practice, the question and their working reach the tutor in one tap.

  • Jump on a call without a booking
    Some things are faster said than typed. Start a video call with a parent or a student straight from the thread — nothing to schedule, no link to send. Lessons themselves still run in the live classroom, with the whiteboard and the write-up attached.
  • The bell, and email if they want it
    Unread messages show on the bell and the Messages badge. Email notifications follow each person's settings, and any thread can be muted.

Talk to the whole class at once

Each classroom, group and program has its own space, and the class chat can run a poll.

Post a poll in the class chat, switch on quiz mode to mark one answer correct, and watch the votes come in.
  • A feed for every classroom, group and program you run
    Not another chat log — a real feed inside each classroom, group or program, where staff can post an update, attach a file or an embedded whiteboard, and students reply and like. Pin it, mark it an announcement, or lock a thread once it's resolved.

Your admin can see. Everyone knows.

Owners and admins can read their tutors' conversations, and tutors can see when an admin has looked.

    Anyone can report a message or block another user. Org admins work through reports in a queue, and a report about an admin never reaches that admin.
